But in just under one hour's time, at 11.59pm GMT it's the deadline for Brits to register to vote in the upcoming General Election in three weeks' time. A very important cut off time. But two minutes after that at 0.01am GMT, it's the moment that all the Christmas Week delivery slots open up for Tesco, Britain's largest supermarket in a country that has been switching in their millions from in-store purchase to doorstep deliveries. And those with a Delivery Saver subscription, we get a few day's advance on those who don't pay a monthly fee.
Slots will open for Delivery Saver customers at 7am on 13 November. To qualify for access to priority slots, you must be signed up to a paid plan before 13 November. To help us make sure we have enough slots for everyone, Delivery Saver customers can only book 1 slot in the week starting 21 December. And there is still a 95 items per order limit. Standard Delivery Slots. All customers can book a delivery slot for arrival on or before the 19th December (Subject to availability). Christmas Delivery slots. From 4th November, Delivery pass holders get priority booking for deliveries between 20th - 24th December. From 25th November, all customers can then book slots for arrival 20th - 24th. Bookings for Waitrose Christmas delivery slots are open now until 15 December. Selected shops will deliver on Christmas Eve. For all other stores, the last grocery delivery date is 23 December. There is free delivery on orders over £60, and you can keep adding to your order up until 11pm on the day before delivery. TESCO shoppers are furious after the supermarket's website crashed this morning leaving them unable to book coveted Christmas delivery slots. Households hoping to have their festive food shop.
